Become a member of The Bank of England Sports Centre, with its wide range of indoor facilities and outdoor sports fields and woodland; an outstanding example of a great English tradition.
The facilities at Roehampton were purchased by the Bank of England in the early 1900’s and are steeped in history.
The site now combines all the benefits of a traditional club with the needs of today. Having developed over the years, it provides members with the opportunity to escape the rigours of working life and relax and enjoy the unique surroundings whilst participating in a number of different sports and social activities. Although the The Bank of England SportsCentre is used by many organisations, our main aim is to retain a strong membership base and to provide the best possible facilities for all our members.
Please view the booklet below to answer any initial questions you may have and do not hesitate to contact us by remaining email@example.com if you require any further information or wish to Join.
The Centre boasts many facilities, including a Sports Complex, comprising a sports hall where you can play indoor tennis, badminton, 5-a-side football, netball basketball or cricket in the indoor nets, a 20m indoor swimming pool which opens out onto a sun-terrace and lawn in the summer as well as a relaxation suite offering a steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. These indoor facilities are complemented by some of the finest outdoor facilities in the country which host the Bank of England sports teams. There is also a crèche, children’s adventure playground area, a paddling pool and a multi-level soft play area.
The Sports Centre is highly respected within the sporting industry, which is evident by the number of sportsmen and women that use the facility for both training and competitive sport. Regular clients include various international rugby and soccer teams. In addition, the Centre also plays host to the Wimbledon Qualifying and Lawn Tennis Association Junior International Tennis Tournaments.
Dont forget to make the most out of our swimming pool during the school holidays this year. Why not enrol in lessons or simply soak up the atmosphere on the sun terrace, lawn and picnic area
The Bank of England offers a relaxed and comfortable environment in which to unwind, socialise and enjoy some food and drink throughout the day and into the evening.
