First Aid Course – June 2019

We are pleased to offer a full Health and Safety Executive approved First Aid at Work course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

Once qualified, holders of this certificate can be used as First Aiders in the Workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience i.e. clerical or engineering staff.  The course is run over three days and includes both theory and practical sessions.

This certification is valid for three years*, before expiry a re-qualification course will need to be undertaken.

*Under the current guidelines it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months.

The full 3 day First Aid at Work course will take place from Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th June from 9.00am to 4.00pm

  • Control of Bleeding
  • Fractures
  • Common Illnesses
  • Burns and Scalds
  • Heart Attacks
  • Eye Injuries
  • Dressings
  • Regulations
  • Recording and Reporting
  • First Aid Kits

In addition to the full 3 day First Aid at Work course, we will also be offering a 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course, which requires attendance for the first full day (Monday 10th June 2019).  This course offers a great introduction to First Aid training and covers the basics of emergency first aid.
