Defibrillator courses coming soon!

After the success of the recent defibrillator training sessions, we are pleased to confirm we will be offering 3 additional sessions.

Many shopping centres, high streets, stations and other public areas are now equipped with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and it is fantastic that these life-saving devices are increasingly accessible to the public should there be a cardiac emergency.

You might not be aware but we have an AED on site located at main Pavilion reception which is available for any member, team player or site visitor.

However, we know that many people might be somewhat daunted at the prospect of ever needing to use an AED device as it is something that they might never have practised or done before.
Consequently, we are pleased to confirm that we will be offering some training sessions for our members to explain exactly how an AED works and how you would use it, should the need ever arise.

We will be holding 3 training sessions on the following dates and would welcome members to attend.

  • Wednesday 27th February from 10.00am to midday
  • Saturday 9th March from 1.30pm to 3.30pm
  • Wednesday 13th March from 7.30pm to 9.30pm

We will be charging a nominal £5 fee to book onto one of the above training sessions. The fee is to cover the cost of refreshments and to encourage bookees to attend the relevant session, as space on each course is limited to 12 to ensure opportunity to practise on a trainer AED.

To book a place, please contact reception on 020 8392 4360 or book in person at the reception desk.  Payment is required at the time of booking to secure the space.

Places are limited so if you are keen to come along, don’t delay; book your space today.
